that's because SuSE doesn't run man1.5g, thus SuSE is not vulnerable.

I see you typed "-k" and not "-K" ... I'm not professing to know that
there's a difference in what the flags do based on case, but I'd guess
that this would indicate it (although this isn't on SuSE):

That's because, on SuSE:

man -K foo
man: invalid option -- K
