Hello everyone...

I was doing a rotine virus scan with AVP...
and he told me that Netdetect.exe was infected with the
trojan Backdoor.IP_Protect .

AVP can sometimes incorrectly detect trojans. Something to do with the
way it analyses packed files. I'd suggest informing avp via this
address:
newvirus () avp ru
I know of one program in particular, Fortify for Netscape, that is
incorrectly diagnosed as containing a Type_ win_32 trojan.

Personally, I prefer to receive the odd false alarm than no warning at
all.
Cheers,
Brad
