Re: daq problem from new lastest snort 2.9.13

I tried to install snort3 which all needing but I have failed…

I fail by open mpi (hwl...) missing I Don't known why...

I hope I will be able to uses the last snort 2 9 13 :)

Have a nice evening I am on snort in time to step by step create files missing by IPQ DAQ modules in my snort 2 9 12 🙂

I went to happen than gcc weren’t installed

I have the daq Library missing in snort but daq seems no have again error about this daq Library missing problem 😊

Finally I success to download daq but I have again this same problem :

I have this problem when I want to set up snort :

./configure: line 13001: daq-modules-config: command not found

checking for daq_load_modules in -ldaq_static... no



   ERROR!  daq_static library not found, go get it from

   http://www.snort.org/.

I can’t able to download the last daq :

wget https://www.snort.org/downloads/snort/daq-2.0.6.tar.g
