In snort there are options which your own log directorie createn which mkdir and a good option for store yours saving

the doc advice this command line :

./snort -dev -l ./log

But if you are in the snort directorie which the log directorie in your own snort the command line should be this :

/snort -dev -l /log

The snort called in the first command line is the snort download which the "apt-get install" (I Don't know what is the 
install on Cent-OS 🙁 )

i am using snort 2.9.13 in centos  7, it is running but no logs are being stored in the var/log/snort
