Barnyard2 unable to start service

Hi,
Barnyard was successfully installed but having issues bringing the service up:
● barnyard2.service - SYSV: Barnyard2 is an output processor for snort.   Loaded: loaded (/etc/rc.d/init.d/barnyard2)   
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Tue 2016-08-16 18:44:05 EDT; 9s ago     Docs: man:systemd-sysv-generator(8)  
Process: 651 ExecStart=/etc/rc.d/init.d/barnyard2 start (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE)
