Mobile Version of SNORT ?

Dear SNORT users,

Smartphones are ubiquitous and being outsold by PC's thus bringing hacker's
interest upon them making more and more vulnerable than before.
Is there a mobile version of snort developing going on for smartphones like
android etc?
If so, How different it would be from the original version ?
