Newbie install Snort on a MacBook Pro with Maverick

I would really appreciate any help anyone ca give me.  I am trying to install Snort on my Mac with Maverick and 
everything goes ok until I run ‘make’ then
see below.  I have tried to search the net and don’t understand what anyone is saying.  Can someone please help me in 
simple terms?
