Pulled Pork error

Hi everyone,
     Has anyone ran across this error?

   Error 400 when fetchinghttp://www.snort.org/reg-rules/snortrules-snapshot-2956.tar.gz.md5 at 
/usr/local/etc/pulledpork/pulledpork.pl line 463
   main::md5file('xxxxxxxmyoinkcodexxxxxxxxxxxxxx', 'snortrules-snapshot-2956.tar.gz', '/tmp/', 
'http://www.snort.org/reg-rules/') called at /usr/local/etc/pulledpork/pulledpork.pl line 1847

I'm on centos 6.4 and I have updated my by running cpan Mozilla::CA IO::Socket::SSL

If I do a wget using --no-check-certificate. I can download the files. Is there a way to force pulled pork to not use 
SSL?
