Re: problems with barnyard2 and rpm

I can't seem to get the barnyard2 rpm to compile.

/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.yVN2CJ: line 38: cd: barnyard2-1.10: No such file or directory
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.yVN2CJ (%prep)

So I'm lost. What do I do next?

Don't get confused. RPM tends to make assumptions.

When you untar/gunzip the barnyard source manually, does it create a
directory named "barnyard2-1.10/" ? Probably not, you may need to fix
the build directory name in the RPM .spec file.
