Confused

I'm running Snort 2.8.6 on CentOS and it starts OK.  When I try to get
barnyard2 to run, I get the message:
ERROR: Absdir is not a subset of the logdir
All I've been able to find on this is that I may have not chown'd the
directory correctly, so I went through and re-chown'd all the way
they're supposed to be, and it still happens.
Any ideas?
