mysql error

I am getting the following error when I am trying to start snort. 

 

FATAL ERROR: database: mysql_error: Access denied for user:
'snort@localhost' to database 'db'

 

I have tried a lot of things but still couldn't get it working. Anyone knows
fix for this.
