Webmin and Acid

Hi,

I am using webmin and acid for reporting. When I use webmin to start snort 
it does start up and it logs but it doesn't send the alerts to Acid. But 
when I run the snort from a terminal window using the same command I am 
used in webmin, it does send the alerts to acid ? What am I doing wrong ? 
Is there something I am leaving out ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
