I would also add my name the the list of people willing to help out.  I 
haven't spent much time under the hood but I would be willing to take a
look.

Most of my current free time is being spent trying to figure out how
to get SnortCenter working with 2.1.  As far as I can tell that has
been abandoned and not being supported either.
