pcre.h error .

Hi all ..  

I have  one interest issue ..   compiling the last ver of snort, have 
ann error when can't found libpcre headers...  I download the package 
from net,   tar.gz  and  do ./configure it ..  

Found in /www/include the file pcre.h  but  snort in configure send the 
same error ..

My box RH 9  ..
