Remove Perl 5.8.1 and install Perl 5.6.1.635. Don't always assume the
latest
is always the greatest. I'm sure it has something to do with a
compatibility
with Snortsnarf.

  I am trying to get a smooth installation of snortsnarf running however

is giving me :-

Using an array as a reference is deprecated at

line 290.

every time I run the perl script. 
I am running snortsnarf 021111.1 and perl 5.8.1 on windows xp and
windows
2003. I have copied all the includes into c:\perl\lib.

Has anybody has seen this before ? What did you do to resolve it?
