snort 2.01 + guardian 1.7 and 1.6 problem

Hi all,

i setup a linux suse box with Kernel 2.4.23 snort and
guardian

everything seems to work fine, i've no errors at all.
I've no errors in /var/log/messages or
/var/log/snort/alert or in guardian.log

In the guardian.log i see only the guardian process
id.
I've already tried the debug mode.

any insight ?
