There's no need to compile Oinkmaster, as it's just a Perl script.  Once
you've got Perl installed, just run

./oinkmaster.pl -o /path/to/snort/rules

You'll also need to edit oinkmaster.conf if you don't have wget, tar and
gzip in one of /bin, /usr/bin or /usr/local/bin.

I just downloaded oinkmaster-0.8.tar.gz, and did gzip
-d -c ...|tar xvf -

I read the INSTALL file, it dose not have any install
steps, like ./configure, make, make install as I
expected to see.

Certainly, I tried those, showing file not found. 

Can some one provide me with a quick hint how to
install this steps by steps please, Looks like it's
only me not being able to figure it out here.
