Snort 2.0.1 and SNMP

My company uses Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) as a central point for
all monitoring. We currently have a Demarc management console with a MySQL
database and two Snort sensors, all on RedHat 7.3. The monitoring guy wants
to send pertinent alerts to MOM via SNMP.

Is there a way to allow Snort to collect all its data, then alert on certain
events via SNMP?

Any info is appreciated :)
