Folks,

      I am trying to get a Snort-Apache-MySql-ACID machine running on a
Win2k box. I had previously ran Snort on it and wanted to update it. I am
following the guide from Mr. Steele over at SiliconDefense. The errors I
get are at the top and bottom of the main page of ACID.

Top of ACID Main Page:
Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp\sess_e0c56792053b9b699043e087959db06d,
O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in
D:\Applications\apache\Apache2\htdocs\acid\acid_state_common.inc on line 81

This is the main error. It points to the fact that it is trying to
open a Unix-style session file on your Windows temp directory.

Have you made sure that _all_ your acid_conf.php paths are of the
Windows type? ie. c:\temp

I have made sure that the the /tmp directory is set to c:\winnt\temp (I have
made sure permissions are correct) The changes I make do not seem to be
taking.

Where exactly are you setting this?
