i have the same issue (in win2k-sp4). the java forums
seem to indicate that this is a java newbie error and
that the classpath needs to be set. but i've tried
every way i could find to set the classpath and noe
have worked. i wish i knew java a little better --
i'd love to get this to work.

Guys,

Anyone allready tried to install scanmap3d???

I followed the installation instructions,
installed the java 1.4.1 and the java3d1.3.1 ... But
so far I'm unable to install it on XP or Redhat
8.....

In XP I get the following error:
C:\scanmap3d-1.4a>java -cp
mm.mysql-2.0.14-bin.jar:. scanmap3d
Exception in thread "main"
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: scanmap3d

And in Redhat I get the following error:
java -cp mm.mysql-2.0.14-bin.jar:. scanmap3d
Exception in thread "main"
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
javax/media/j3d/Texture

    at scanmap3d.<init>(scanmap3d.java:71)
    at scanmap3d.main(scanmap3d.java:276)

Any ideas on how to proceed?

Regards,
Edwin
