Mysql Integeration

Hi,
              I have installed and configured snort,mysql,acid
console.Iam not able to generate the snort alerts in the snort database
in Mysql.
I have given the database path & the user authentication required in the
snort.conf file.Kindly help me to integrate the snort and mysql
