Problems with SnortCenter

Hello group,
 
I am configuring snort on a mandrake system. I update to all the latest versions of snort, snortcenter, and all the 
dependencies for the lot. Well, after following the directions for installing everything...
 
load up Snortcenter on localhost... I load up some rules, send em to the sensor, try clicking start.. and the sensor 
shows (snort not started) and the error is Errors in config. I looked through the sensor config (labeled internet) and 
everything looks fine, Is there a place I can look for a more detailed error? I checked everying in the log directories 
to no avail. Any idea what the heck is wrong? Thanks group. BTW, I have configured snort a while back with no problem 
but it was a slightly older version.
