snort -q

Hey,

I start Snort every night from cron using a script, which basically utilizes
the following commandline:

snort -q -D -A fast

-q should mean "Quiet operation.  Don't display banner and initialization
information" according to the manpage, but still I get an e-mail saying
"Initializing Output Plugins!" from the Cron Daemon every time.
Why does this still happen? I'm using 1.9.0 on FreeBSD 4.7.
