Huge Amount of Port 1433 Scans From Asian IP's

Am I the only one who has seen an extremely large rise
in scans to port 1433/ms-sql? While not a problem for me, 
we do not run this crap, just curious to find out why it hasn't
stopped, the src addr's are mostly the same.
