Access Permissions on New Logfiles (1.8.7/128)

Hello,

Does anybody know how is Snort determining the permissions
to set for new logfiles after a restart?

First I set the permissions to 600 and later to 640, but
Snort continues to produce new files with mode 600.

Any hints on this?
