Keep the file like it is.

Three things:
1) Is the file executable (ie "chmod +x snort")?
2) Did you FTP it from a Windows machine and need to convert the CR/LF 
(ie. "dos2unix snort snort")?
3) Do you have any whitespace after "/bin/sh"?
