packet loss stats with Win2k and IDS Center

I'm running Snort 1.8.7 on a Win2k box with IDS Center, so I have a nice 
GUI to deal with in modifying Snort rules and pre-processors and such. 
My biggest problem is that when I stop snort, it closes the Console 
Window before I can even view the packet stats.  

So my question is can I

1) log those ending stats to a file so I don't have to worry about the 
console window closing or
2) If there are any IDS Center users, if they know of a way that I 
cannot see to keep that window open or
3) If I can modify the config files in a way to put in a pause to keep 
the window open so I can view the stats or
4) another way to get the packet loss statistics that I so desire?
