Ronneil,

here some suggestions:

snortsam.h:125: warning: redefinition of `time_t'
/usr/include/time.h:71: warning: `time_t' previously declared here

Check snortsam.h [line 125] and comment out the line that does a
typedef for time_t. Apparently the _TIME_T_DEFINED is not defined on
all systems.

ssp_opsec.h:65: parse error before `opsec_table'

Sorry, can't help you there as I haven't compiled it under *nix yet.
(Give me some time, I'm currently looking at RedHat and a migration
plan from Windows to RedHat... :)

snortsam.c: In function `FWSamParse':
snortsam.c:898: structure has no member named `S_un'
snortsam.c:898: structure has no member named `S_un'
snortsam.c:898: structure has no member named `S_un'
snortsam.c:898: structure has no member named `S_un'

oops... Comment that line out for now. It just logs the IP address of
the firewall modules that are added to the list. Looks like the S_un
union is unique to Windows. I'll change that in the next version.

Sorry, I don't have a make file for *nix yet. As long as you can just
link all .o's (from Snortsam and the SDK), you should be in good
shape.

I have been quite busy lately and prepare to leave town again for two
weeks. By end of February I hope to have a beta of the Cisco PIX
plugin ready.

Regards,
Frank
