Well, after muddeling through IDScenter does work :-))

BUT ONE THING IS LEFT OVER!

I get IDScenter declaring snort runs AND snort complainig
it can not open Network device 1!

I assume this happens becaute my test-system so far only
has dialup-connections and snort *must* have 'ethernet card' ?
(So I'll have to wait for my DSL :-)
