PID file

[Wozz <wozz+snort () wookie net>]

I'm reworking some of my snort setups and wanted to make use of the PID
file to make management a bit easier.  However, snort (1.8.2) doesn't seem
to generate one, and I don't see any arguments or config file options to
turn it on.  Any guidence on this?  There's no pid file in /var/run (Which
is where I would assume it gets written).
