I would grab the source rpm and just modify the spec file in
/usr/src/redhat/SPECS were all the configure option are just
add --enable-mysql.

Subject: [Snort-users] Total Newbie Question

I would like to run Snort 1.8 on RedHat Linux 7.1. I downloaded the RPM from
snort.org. It appears that this RPM was built for postgres database support.
I would like to use mySQL instead. Where can I find an RPM that supports
mySQL? Or how can I compile the source files to support mySQL?

Thanks,

Lance Cuthbert
