turned off error reporting, it's all good.  Since I had all the data, and
everything was working fine.. this did the trick.

Go into your root directory where you placed the php.ini file and use
wordpad to edit. You are looking for the error handeling part of the config.
You need to turn it off. Is everything operating as it should? If so then
turn off the error reporting, if not let me know.

I've installed snort 1.8, but I had problems running ACID. So, I turned to
http://www.cert.org/kb/acid/ and downloaded a new version (0.9.6b12), and
things got really better.

I've gone through the process of setting up snort with acid, and its working
fine, I am getting alerts, and viewing them through acid, however I am
getting lots of undefined variables on the pages.  For example, the initial
page is fine, but acid_stat_alerts.php, along with the data returns these
errors

C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\acid\acid_stat_alerts.php on line 104

Warning: Undefined variable: action_chk_lst in
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\acid\acid_stat_alerts.php on line 106

Warning: Undefined variable: action_lst in
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\acid\acid_stat_alerts.php on line 106
Warning: Undefined variable: context in
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\acid\acid_stat_alerts.php on line 452

There are lots of errors on each pahe, all of them are undefined variable
errors, but they all accompany the correct data.  any one have any ideas?
