take a look at hogwash or guardian
they 'll both allow you to block traffic.

Subject: [Snort-users] Snort activate

OK, this may be really obvious and I am just missing something, but how
can I get snort to run a command once an alert has been triggered?

Say for example, I want any incoming CodeRed alerts to
automagically block the source IP.

Is this easier than I am making it out to be? Or am I nuts? Any info
would be great!

Thanks,

Bryan
