Security improvements in Java JSE 1.5 beta

FYI, I noticed in the news yesterday that Sun has released a beta of its Java 
Standard Edition (JSE) 1.5.  I was curious about the security-related  
implications and upgrades of the new release, and found the following 
reference that summarizes the security enhancements and new capabilities with
