Two stories from today's Internet Law News

France case is back, while a  Japanese executive faces criminal
liability for carrying controversial advertising.

FRENCH COURT RULES IT CAN HEAR YAHOO! CRIMINAL CASE
A Paris Court of Appeal has ruled that it is competent to
hear a case involving criminal charges against former Yahoo!
CEO Timothy Koogle over the availability of Nazi content on
the Yahoo! site. Koogle was acquitted by a trial court last
year. The appellate court ruled that it was entitled to
assert jurisdiction over the matter.

JAPANESE AD EXEC ARRESTED FOR RUNNING BROTHEL SITE ADS
A Japanese Internet advertising executive has been arrested
after his company ran ads on its homepage for a Tokyo
brothel. The executive and a fellow employee were charged
with breaking the Anti-Prostitution Law.
