Subject: Regarding Bill Bradley use of email addresses

Funny you should mention this. Here's a note I recently sent to a VA
candidate. I've had no response. Please anonymize the note if you send
it to Politech. I have the candidate's original note, if that interests
you.

Dear candidate: You really, really, really don't want to send people
gigantic attachments such as the one you just sent me. Whatever the
merits of your appeal, you've annoyed me by wasting my time and
bandwidth on your attachment, when a plain text email would have been
just fine.

Even worse, your note is spam -- since I never contacted you nor did I
authorize the Bradley campaign to share my email address with anyone
else for any other use. I'm considering complaining to the Bradley
campaign, the VA and national Democratic parties, and Federal election
authorities about this violation of my privacy. My reaction would have
been entirely different had the Bradley campaign written to me and
suggested I contact you or visit your Web site for information. Can you
see the difference in that approach?
