VA - Qualys (priced too high), Security Center + Nessus (makes total
sense), Rapid 7 (combersome)

Pentest - Core(point and click), Metasploit(flexible, does way more
than most realize)

And the obvious would be to 'Google it'.

Try these sites as a launching point.

Good luck

Hi

I am looking for information on the commercial VA & Pentest tools.

Though iam aware of Nessus, Core Impact, Canvas, Backtrack, etc. I need some inputs on other tool that can be used VA
and Pentest.

Major factors considered are:

1) Capability to address network elements (such as Routers, Switches, Firewall, IPS/IDS).

2) Commercially usable (we plan to offer this as a service also).

3) Reporting capabilities.

Thanks

Ramki
