-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 A few months ago I broke down and bought a new machine with Vista. As it turns out, the new wireless stack and exposed wireless API's available with Vista's NDIS 6 model are pretty cool, and provide a lot of functionality that just wasn't available in Windows XP. I spent some time putting together a few new tools and describing techniques where a Vista machine with a NDIS 6 wireless adapter could be used to explore and exploit wireless networks. The basic concept is that, once you compromise a Vista client, any available wireless interfaces can be used to attack nearby wireless networks, and to leverage Vista functionality to establish unrestricted access into the internal network.
