Speedtouch

Hello pen testers...

I have been trying to break in an alcatel speedtouch authentication (telnet
and http-basic) using brutus. It reported the default username and pass but
everytime I connect using the credentials given by brutus I get an 
incorrect password" message. I have also tried hydra with no hope.

 

Any ideas as to what may be happening here??
