Worst advice ever.  Anybody at the affected vendor or your client that was
familiar with the specifics of your findings will know, or at least suspect.
And at the very least, it will probably be the last time you work for that
client again.  It's certainly not outside of the realm of possibility that
one or both would sue you as well.
