Re: Exploit through firewall question

Suppose a user walks into the office with a laptop which has been 
compromised, plugs it into the network, it punches a hole out through 
the firewall to nasty hacker, effectively giving the nasty hacker access 
to your internal network. Is the firewall still going to protect your 
possibly vulnerable webapps then?

What about the user that plugs a modem into their pc for whatever 
reason, and a random wardialer stumbles across it?

Or the "I think i know what I'm doing" user who plugs in a wireless AP?
