Java DOM and SAX API's are good for XML parsing and are easy to use

Hello list,

I was hoping to get a discussion going regarding sorting the results of the scans being conducted into a more usable
format.

I plan to run nmap, retina, and nessus scans and sort them into a single report sorted by IP to determine which
vulnerabilities are on each device. Which programming language would be best for performing the compilation? I'm
currnetly checking into Perl, but was looking at XML as well.

Any recommendations and dicussion is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
