Hi Ron,

I was thinking of broadcast and multicast routing updates only. Most
systems are on switches, and didn't really want to suggest playing games
with redirecting switched traffic to learn src/dst ip addreesses. ;->

Another way to obtain the routing table, would be to to probe the routers
for default snmp strings.

into permicuous and seeing what yer sniffer can discover on it's own?


Perhaps that's what you meant by looking for routing traffic?
