Hi everyone,

Thanks for all your helpful repsponses.

It looks like there are more commercial solutions
available than Open Source ones.  I'm a *NIX head so
I was originally hoping to find an Open Source alternative
and sorry for not stating that in my original post.

If I can convince mgmt to pony-up the $$$ then I'll
go for a commercial solution, if not then I'll probably
start with something like Inprotect:

..or get creative with Nmap, MySQL + PHP

Of course, as Jason Bridge pointed out, I may already
have the software I'm seeking.
