I just this week installed XP, SP2. All my WinPCap apps have ceased to function. I permitted Ethereal, etc... No packets coming in. I believe I read an article that stated that Microsoft removed the raw sockets api or something-or-another. ~~~~~ Paris E. Please check the configuration and that ethereal is a permitted application? If you are in active directory, check your group policy? I also have been using SP2 since beta and it appears to be working just fine.
