VoIP Handset Emulation

Greetings security professionals:

Does anyone know of a source for software that emulates VoIP handsets in 
order to pen-test VoIP gateways?   I am specifically looking for something 
that will eumulate an NEC  DTerm handset, but will take what I can get if 
it might work.
