Hi, Quoting tjan () PLANETARYMOTION NET (tjan () PLANETARYMOTION NET):
Does anyone has any good suggestions of OS fingerprinting tools beside, nmap, nessus or queso?
If used properly, 'sing' (send nasty icmp garbage) can do some nice fingerprinting/os identification stuff based on ICMP. The 'ICMP usage in scanning' and other papers by Ofir Arkin are a good read on ICMP scanning techniques, and the usage of 'sing' as well. Also check some of the posts by Ofir (and others) on [bugtraq] . Greets, Robert -- Linux Generation "All Bibles are man-made." -- Thomas Edison
