There's a Net::Hotline (perl) http://theoryx5.uwinnipeg.ca/CPAN/data/Net-Hotline/Net/Hotline/Client.html or any other CPAN site Goto freshmeat.net and search for 'hotline', I got 9 matches, just grab the source code for hx (a console client), I think the other gui clients are pretty much based on this, there's a java implementation also. since this is an unpublished protocol, some things may not work, yadda yadda.. aside, did you actually try to look for any of this information? it's not hard to find at all, you just have to *look* i'm sorry, but posting something that can be answered after 40 seconds at google is just silly. - brian. infact yes i did and compiled the gtkhx software and then tried the server version. i was asking a simple question and that was all, maybe someone had seen or knows something i do not and now that were on this subject of posting simple things, isnt this list supposed to be here for educational purposes ? so like asking questions is a good thing ? so you dont have more useless seat dwellers at the keyboard ? just curious to that one too. i wonder if medical lists react the same way as people on this list do ? shinder information that should be shared to educate other medical pratitioners so the physical care of an individual might not be advanced and is discouraged to the point of bad and or neglected healthcare ? hmmmmmm just like security kinda eh ? thanks a bunch, good morning and now ill get some coffee. chris
