I have simply scripted NMap to conduct scans twice each day on a server and compare to a base scan, then report the differences and email them to me. Just used nmap and ndiff with some powershell. I plan on extending this out to end user workstations but don't have the time currently. On Sat, Jun 11, 2011 at 11:09 AM, Anatoly Bodner <abodner () gmail com> wrote:
Has anyone ever looked into scripting/automating community or commercial security scanners? Are there utilities which anyone found helpful to support this? How effective and what aspects of automation have you been able to achieve, auto execution of regularly-scheduled scans, or creation and modification of new scans, targets, and outputs of reports?
