Ron,

:-) Certainly odd and unique here - hence my request for Nessus to conduct patch auditing over WMI a while ago. In a 
nutshell at the beginning of time security asked for SMB and admin shares to be disabled in the design if not needed. 
This was before we owned Nessus.
